This putty is intended to help keep your type slugs nice and clean. There by keeping your type crisp and clear. Simply dab your slugs with the putty to lift excess ink before it gets gunked up and hard. 
This is not for cleaning heavy, hard ink. Manually remove hard ink before using this product.
